The designer Arne Jacobsen
In October 2023 a new publication about Arne Jacobsen and his work was published from Danish publisher Gyldendal.
The book Designeren Arne Jacobsen is the story of Arne Jacobsen’s work as an industrial designer. Based on his designs, unrealized projects, correspondence and other sources, his important work in this area is described. Arne Jacobsen’s designs – furniture, lamps, textiles, clocks and building adaptations, among others – stand as distinctive beacons in international design history.
The book is in Danish and is written by architect and industrial designer Thomas Dickson and furniture architect and design researcher Henrik Lund-Larsen.
