Nordic Masterpieces: Arne Jacobsen and Otto Weitling in Germany

Arne Jacobsen’s architecture extends far beyond Denmark. In Germany, his work became part of an important chapter of postwar modernism, developed in close collaboration with Otto Weitling and the studio. Several of these projects were completed after Jacobsen’s death in 1971, with great respect for his original architectural vision.

Until 10 July, THE LINK Berlin presents Nordic Masterpieces in Hamburg – an exhibition exploring the architectural legacy of Arne Jacobsen and Otto Weitling in Germany.

Through six cinematic building portraits, the exhibition highlights light, rhythm, materials and atmosphere, offering a new perspective on some of their most significant German projects.
