Throughout his career, Arne Jacobsen created several elegant clock designs, which he used in the interior design of some of his most famous architectural projects. Among them is the City Hall clock from 1956, designed for Rødovre Town Hall, and the Bankers clock from 1970, designed for the National Bank of Denmark.
Four wall clocks – Station, Roman, City Hall and Bankers – were recently launched by Copenhagen Watch Group and Arne Jacobsen Design I/S in gently scaled-down wristwatch versions preserving Arne Jacobsen’s simple and functionalist design.
